šŸŖ ET #4 - Lowering Your Exchanges or Returns!

Heey šŸ‘‹šŸ»
So today's email is a bit different. Itā€™s not a success story or something crazy that I found out.

Itā€™s more about a tip I think will work really well for stores selling clothes. Thereā€™s a well-known issue with sizing fits.

I found something I love, but Iā€™m just not sure which size to choose (sometimes I buy 2 sizes, just to be sure).

It turns out, Iā€™m not aloneā€”50% of returns are because of the wrong fit, and about 35% of shoppers abandon their carts due to size and fit issues. Thatā€™s a lot of money left on the table! šŸ’ø

But there a store called Shapermint, and theyā€™ve got a interesting solution that I think you'll love.

The reason I think this works is that the size fit information is right above the CTA. Visitors donā€™t need to scroll down to look at a table and have a hard time finding the correct fit.

This ensures customers have all the information they need to make the right choice.

But why does it work? I had my own store selling clothes, and I set up Hotjar to understand how my visitors behave on a product page.

I found out that 50% of my visitors do not scroll down to see the sizing table. This means a lot of them are buying something just based on the size label!

Flashing the sizes right there makes them pause for a moment to consider if itā€™s the right size for them. Especially women, since they know their size pretty well šŸ˜…
